Everyone else has a web site these days, so I figured, why not us, too? Sure, we all loove the Bulldog's Bark, but it only comes out several times a year and ya gotta whack trees for it. And the website's cool, but it's so...academically oriented! This is for fun!

Back and running for Spring 2003 is the Bow-Wow Chow. Unfortunately, we're gonna need to say goodbye to some of our favorite senior "chow-ies":-(. Which only means we need more contributors! If you would like to contribute, please email us! We'd love a variety of opinions!

News:

Spring time is back around! Beside the obvious change in weather, attire and mood, prom is lurking around the corner and before we know it we will say goodbye to our seniors(unfortunately) and hello to summer! (fortunately). Check out our urban link for any prom night hair, make-up, fashion and even date ideas.

The Bow-Wow page is currently being updated. Heard any gossip?(Please, nothing offensive). Click on "Contact us" and do share!

Exciting News!!

Coach Sheila here with the most awesome news from the cheerleaders!
We just got back from UCA (Universal Cheerleaders Association) Summer Cheer Camp at Rutgers. I took seven members of the squad. What an awesome time they had at camp.

The results:
1 Red Excellent Ribbon for - X-Treme Routine evaluation
4 Blue Superior Ribbons for - Sideline Evlauation, Cheer Evaluation, Final X-Treme Evaluation and Final Cheer Evaluation
6 Gold Superior Ribbons for - Finals on Sidelines, Cheers, Stunts and second Dance as well as Traditions and Home Dance Routine Trophy for being one of the most improved teams at camp.
Our camp Captain (Sara Butler) and camp Co-Captains (Gayle Jacobson and Charlette Kates) received an invitation to march in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade
Senior - Sara Butler tried out for UCA All-Star. UCA All-Stars is an elite group of cheerleaders. Out of approximately 300 cheerleaders that attended our camp, maybe 80 tried out. Of those 80 that tried out - approximately 20-30 were selected as All-Stars. Of the 20-30 selected - approximately 10-15 were chosen to represent their schools, towns and our country in London, England for the London New Year's Parade. Sara was one of those few, distinguished cheerleaders - and she's going to London to represent MHS!
All in all, an exciting week to be sure with lots of great awards for MHS to be proud of our cheerleaders.
Way to go Sara and all of the cheer squad!
